Forest Lake Game Studios is an independent game development studio based in the Czech Republic. We explore the meeting point between atmosphere, physical interaction and unusual gameplay ideas.

We’re interested in what happens when a familiar action becomes unfamiliar. An object on a table. A number on a screen. A decision whose consequences haven’t arrived yet.

Our current game, Expiration, brings that approach to first-person psychological horror and tabletop strategy, exploring survival and Type 1 diabetes through the objects and systems of its world.
